Photography and digital photo art are my passion. But there are always projects that are exceedingly difficult to realize.
It was the same here. Berlin, Bahnhof Grunewald, Gleis 17: the infamous "Gleis 17" was the place from which more than 50,000 Jews were deported between 1941 and the end of the war in 1945. To be in such an emotionally loaded place and to take photos that have a lasting impact on me was a challenge. A photo is "nice". But for me it is only a rather objective representation of reality - not very personal.
The real expressiveness for me only came after I had given the photos my "personal signature".
